I visited Yuzu-An for their all-you-can-eat meal, and I was truly impressed by the wide variety of dishes they offer, including shabu-shabu, sushi, tempura, and an array of desserts. Here are some of the highlights from my experience.
Shabu-Shabu
First up was the shabu-shabu, where you can choose from fresh beef, pork, and chicken, and enjoy them with your preferred broth. They offer a wide selection of vegetables, such as napa cabbage, mushrooms, and green onions. I especially enjoyed the lemon-flavored broth, which added a refreshing twist to the meal. The simple condiments like green onions and grated daikon provided a nice balance to the dish, enhancing the flavors without overpowering them.
Sushi and Tempura
Their sushi selection was quite impressive, featuring fresh tuna, salmon, and melt-in-your-mouth seared sushi. The tempura, with its light and crispy batter, was particularly delicious—especially the shrimp tempura, which was a standout.
Desserts
For dessert, I enjoyed mochi ice cream and a rich hojicha-flavored treat. The deep flavor of the hojicha made for a unique dessert experience, while the mochi ice cream had a delightful chewy texture. The caramel pudding-like dessert, as seen in the photos, was smooth and creamy, adding a sweet ending to the meal.
Special Mentions
Yuzu-An offers a unique dish called “Shaka Shaka Potatoes.” It’s a fun way to season fries by shaking them in a paper bag with consomme seasoning. The crispy fries paired with the rich consomme flavor were simply fantastic.
Their drink selection is also noteworthy, with the iced oolong tea being a refreshing palate cleanser after the shabu-shabu.
Overall
Overall, my dining experience at Yuzu-An was incredibly satisfying. From the shabu-shabu to the sushi, tempura, and even desserts, the variety and quality of the food were impressive. It’s hard to believe this was an all-you-can-eat menu! I would definitely love to visit again. Be sure to check out their menu and store information through their official website (Yuzu-An).
