Visited Kamimura Farm for the Hokkaido Fair!

I visited Kamimura Farm again, and this was my second time enjoying their amazing offerings. This time, they were holding a special Hokkaido Fair, so I indulged in the rich flavors of Hokkaido cuisine! You can find more details on their official website here.

Menu Highlights

1. Salmon & Ikura Donburi

When it comes to Hokkaido, seafood is a must! The melt-in-your-mouth salmon and the bursting texture of ikura (salmon roe) were simply fantastic. As a big fan of salmon and ikura, I couldn’t resist having five servings of this dish!

2. Hakodate Shio Ramen

This dish impressed me the most! The perfectly balanced salty broth combined with a generous amount of scallops made for a delightful texture and flavor. It’s a simple yet deeply satisfying bowl of ramen that I’d happily eat again and again.

3. Sapporo Miso Ramen

With its rich miso aroma, this ramen was perfectly complemented by toppings like sweet corn and wakame seaweed. It’s a hearty and warming dish, especially perfect for the cold winter season.

4. Tokachi Pork Donburi

Served sizzling hot in a stone bowl, this pork donburi stood out for its smoky flavor and juicy pork slices. The sweetness of the fat paired perfectly with the rice, making it an absolutely satisfying dish from start to finish.

5. Mascarpone & Yukimi Daifuku

This dessert was a delightful way to end the meal. The chewy texture of the Yukimi Daifuku paired with the creamy mascarpone made for an exquisite combination that left me completely satisfied.

Final Thoughts

Although this was a buffet, every dish maintained a high standard of quality. I was especially impressed by the ramen and donburi dishes, which showcased Hokkaido’s rich and flavorful ingredients. If there’s another special event like this in the future, I’ll definitely come back again!
